Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is located at the formed Air Force Base in Bergstrom in Austin, TX (AUS). It was the first time that an Air Force Base was converted to a commercial airport after the Cold War. It had been built with a budget of over $580 million. The airport provides frequent flight to important cities all around the world. Its main terminal has been named after the legendary U.S. Congresswoman and civil rights leader Barbara Jordan. She was also an orator who used to reside in Austin till 1996 when she died.
